Time Lapse Photos of the Garden Project

Here are three time lapsed views of the Dike Newell garden project.  Here is the first view with three photos over time:

These are overgrown bushes on the corner of the school.

This picture was taken right after the bushes were removed.

Here is that corner with grass grown.

In this second view, it is hard to tell that there are even windows behind the bushes.

Here is the same view right after the bushes are removed.
This is the same view with the grass grown. Now the lilac tree has room to grow.

In this view, you cannot see the Dike Newell sign due to the the out of control bushes and trees.
Here is the same view with the bushes removed.
Here is the view with the hostas and mums planted.

Over the next month, each child at Dike Newell will plant a daffodil or tulip bulb that will blossom in the spring.  Thank you to Estabrook Gardens in Yarmouth, Maine, for giving the students at Dike Newell a wonderful break on the price of the bulbs!
